What is the difference between Valencia Community College's English for Academic Purposes (EAP) classes and CGL's Conversational English classes?

| Assessment Process & Entry Requirements: | LOEP (minimum score 66) or TOEFL (minimum score 450 for paper version or 133 for computer version). Only offer levels 2-6. | Oral evaluation by phone. Offer all language levels 1-8. |

Is financial aid or payment plans available for these classes?
Valencia does not offer financial aid or payment plans for its non-credit courses.
Do you offer F-1 student visas?
CGL will issue I-20s to students who register in our Intensive English Program for 10-weeks or longer. You need to begin the application process at least 2 months before your program start date.
How long are the classes and what schedules are available?

Where are classes offered?
- Daytime, evening and Saturday classes are offered at five campuses: Criminal Justice Institute (near East Campus), Osceola, Sand Lake Center, West, and Winter Park.
- Intensive English classes are offered at the Sand Lake Center only.
What is the cost of the classes?
Please refer to course fees for information on tuition.
Books for English courses must be purchased before the start of classes and are not included in the tuition. They are available at designated local bookstores nearest to the campus where your class is scheduled.
I have some information, but what is the next step to register for a language course?
The next step is to take an oral evaluation by phone to determine your language level. Refer to Oral Evaluation Instructions for more details.

How do I register once I have the results of the Oral Evaluation?
You may register by phone, fax, mail, online (Spanish only) or in person at the Client Service Center, located at 2411 Sand Lake Road. For more information, go to: Register for Classes
What do I need to bring with me if I am not a U.S. citizen?
The Center for Global Languages no longer requires proof of legal status in the United Status to take a course unless you are an F-1 visa applicant.
